Building label
The awareness for sustainable compilation of real properties becomes always stronger and also essential for the German market in the future. The long-term success for property owners and landlords of real properties depends on the sustainability of the newly built real properties. Energy efficiency and comfort for the occupiers are decisive factors here.
For evaluation of sustainability by real properties there are different building labels according to which a certificate can be issued.

DENA
A common sustainability system for energy efficiency is the „Green Building-Program“ of the Federal Ministry of Economy.
The German Energy Agency GmbH (dena) is the centre of competence for energy efficiency and regenerative energies. Its main targets are the rational and therefore environmentally sound production, conversion and application of energy as well as the development of sustainable energy systems in special consideration of the increased usage of regenerative energies.

The certificate was determined with the help of BMVBS (Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development) and exists already for office building.
